What are Comp Cards and how do my players use them?

What are Comp Cards?

  • Comp Cards are digital rewards that players earn by passing Academy lessons on the EGL platform.
  • Comp Cards can be used by players on Game Days.
  • Comp Cards are non-transferable and can only be used once
  • Duplicate Comp Cards are allowed in the player's inventory
  • Comp Cards have 3 rarity levels: Base, Pro, and Elite. 
    • Each level of rarity awards a higher bonus and are earned on higher level lesson sets
    • On 100 Level lessons: players can earn 80% Base level and 20% Pro level Comp Cards
    • On 200 Level lessons: players can earn 10% Base level, 80% Pro level, and 10% Elite level Comp Cards
    • On 300 Level lessons: players can earn 10% Pro level and 90% Elite level comp cards

How do my players use their Comp Cards on Game Days?

  • Players must choose their Comp Cards during roll call or player check-in on Game Days for the Comp Cards to be triggered during their game play.
  • Players can choose up to 3 Comp Cards per Game Day.
  • Each Comp Card is selected for a particular round of game play
  • They will only use all 3 if they win their first 2 matches on the bracket.

How will my players know if the Comp Card is available to be used?

  • Earned Comp Cards show in color on the player's account under "Loot"
  • Comp Cards that have not been earned will show in black and white
